Apryl was recommended to my wife and me. She scheduled a meet and greet call and it was then were we fell in love and knew that Apryl was the right agent for us. We were looking for professionalism, knowledge, accountability, communication, and a down-to-earth person.
Professionalism Apryl was the consummate professional. Even in the presence of unprofessional and lack of communication with other Realtors, Apryl made sure that she set the bar for professional interactions.
Knowledge I was looking for someone who would be in my corner and advocate for me both in ensuring that I was educated on the home buying process and that my interest was protected at all times.
Accountability I can't remember a time when we called upon Apryl, and we did not get a response. It didn't matter whether it was 10PM at night, 6AM in the morning, on Holiday, or even after we closed on the house. Apryl is always there to help. If she does not know the answer, she will let you know and find the answer. Apryl was always on time at viewings and always followed through with any to-dos at the end of our many meetings.
Communication Apryl ensured that she always communicated and overcommunicated important aspects of the home buying process. She set up group chats between me and my wife, she would facetime with both of us if we were in separate places.
Down to Earth We called Apryl our Therapist. She knew that we were newbies in terms of the homebuying process. This in and of itself presents stress in any relationship. Apryl was able to use various exercises (I will not disclose these, but they work !!!) to extract what we as individuals were looking for in a home. As I sit in my office now in the new house, I am thankful for Apryl being able to be more than just a Realtor. She is a family friend.

She listened and understood my needs and allowed me to make my own decisions throughout the process although she was always there to answer any questions. And I had a lot of questions! She was very honest with me. Another thing she has is TACT! I had a concern with my sales contract prior to signing it so I bluntly told Apryl of my ultimatum for the builders. Apryl expressed my exact concerns and ultimatum with the seller with such tact and professionalism. As first-time homebuyers working with Apryl made the entire process so much easier for us to handle. When looking at homes we never felt pressured to make an offer and Apryl always had a good sense of whether we liked a house or not after viewing it. When we found a home online we liked the look of, she was always quick to make an appointment and view the home at our earliest convenience. Every time we talked or met it was clear she had a great understanding of our budget and the things we were looking for and wanted to avoid.
After we found our home we were unprepared for how many documents and appointments needed to be taken care of but Apryl always gave us clear instructions on what needed to be handled at each stage and also kept us in the loop about what would be coming up next. Apryl also had great recommendations, from the lender to the inspector. Her experience working with local people/groups was a huge plus for us. I always took the time to look up reviews for everyone she recommended and all of them scored high marks.
Apryl was always available when we had any questions and anything she could not answer right away she would look into and get back to us in a very timely manner. We would happily recommend her to friends and family and would be happy to work with her again ourselves (but hopefully not to soon).

We cannot say enough about Apryl. We met Apryl through a referral from her broker’s office solely to look at a few homes with no intention of buying and we are so glad we got matched with her. From the very beginning, Apryl was warm and friendly. When we unexpectedly decided to move forward with an offer on one of the homes she showed us, we told Apryl that we were high maintenance buyers when it comes to communication throughout the buying process, and thankfully that didn’t scare her away.
We can honestly say that Apryl is the first realtor that exceeded our expectations. Apryl was responsive, checked in daily even if just to say there was no new news, and multiple times a day when we were in the midst of some tricky negotiations. Apryl remained calm, cool and collected from beginning to end and helped us stay focused on our end goal. She answered all of our questions, even personally going to county offices to research permits for us. Apryl arranged for all inspections, repeat inspections when concerns were raised, and facilitated getting multiple repair quotes on inspection report items to ensure we had everything we needed to engage in smart, educated repair negotiations.

I would recommend Apryl without hesitation for any and all of your real estate needs in the Triangle area. Moving here from out of state, we completed at least half of our home buying process remotely. We felt confident doing this because Apryl is such an expert and wonderful advocate for her clients. I am writing in regards to our recent experience with Apryl Bullock who was our realtor, and assisted us in purchasing our retirement home in the Wake Forest area. As we were to find out this area is a very dynamic market, with desirable homes being purchased within days if not hours of being listed.
This was our second home purchase, and we had learned a lot from our first home purchase. We made every first-time home buyer mistake on our first home, and we were determined to not make them again. Apryl proved to be the voice of reason that kept us on track when we would become discouraged, or over excited.
Our number one challenge in our search was that we were still living two hours away. This made timely showings a challenge for us and Apryl. I should also say that we had very specific requirements regarding lot size, desired home design, amenities…
Apryl was amazing throughout the entire process and happily we found our dream home. All told, we looked at 25+ houses, and made the two hour drive seven or eight times. Through it all Apryl remained positive and patient. She never pressured us and understood that we were going to take as long as it required to find the right home.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Apryl to others looking to move or relocate to the greater Raleigh area.
